How high silica fiberglass mesh filter work for casting industry
High silica fiberglass mesh filters are made of specially treated silica fiberglass yarn
and coated with special resin. They are brown with resin coating or black with smokeless carbonized treatment. The filters can effectively remove slags, refractory particles and non-metallic inclusions from molten metals. They are capable of withstanding pouring temperatures up to 1620°C, or 1640°C coated with zirconia. Silica mesh filters are ideal for in-mold filtration of ductile cast irons, non-ferrous aluminum, copper-based metal alloys and steel casting filtration.
